I have accumulated a nice little bucket of nuts and bolts though. Should make for an interesting reassembly. Ended up going further than i wanted and got rid of the wiring loom and cables as well.ĭonk out. Got around to pulling the big block out tonight. Had to literally chip it of with a screw driver.
This looked to be nearly 14 years worth of solid grease and sand/dirt under the front sprocket cover. Now all that has to happen is to get cracking.Ī few new bits and bob's need to be ordered.
After a few more quenching ales(thirsty work this brainstorming caper) a direction was hatched. There was much pondering on what should become of the mighty beast. On Saturday afternoon, myself & kougar sat around thinking, brainstorming if you will. Yep,thats rubber bands and crap that is/was behind the air box, all cleaned now.

So while i am chasing up parts or a full carby, i thought i would clean it up a little and try and get it ready for the hard core ride with philth and his merry band of crazies. Then old mates mate, borrowed the throttle cable, but also took the cap, slide etc with him. Long story short, he said he could not get it to stop, and as he is a junk mail deliverer, required this for his safety, so he had a mate that's dad had an 05 model, so he parked this up and road the other. It was sitting around for 3 years in old mates shed. I was told it required a throttle cable to get it going. It didn't go and hasn't gone since i took possesion.
Bought this little unit off ebay a couple of weeks ago.
